Rak Ceramics Enters the Metaverse
The Metaverse
The metaverse has an undeniable — and perhaps integral — place in the future of CX, marketing, and more. According to Citi— “the total addressable market for the Metaverse could be between $8 trillion and $13 trillion by 2030, with total Metaverse users numbering around five billion.”
The Metaverse as a concept has been around for a few decades. However, interest in the virtual world spiked at the end of 2021 following a rise in sales of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) as well as announcements from Big Tech players indicating their interest and investment in the space.
To the layman, mentioning the term Metaverse makes one think it is some sort of a video game kids spend their time in, but there is more to it than just virtual reality.
Metaverse is moving towards revolutionizing the internet, namely Web 3. Think of it as a community on its own, having its own governance, where metaverse users or “Residents” can own property and conduct their business. Getting access to the metaverse isn’t just limited to the user via a futuristic and expensive virtual headset but easily accessible via personal phones, computers, and even gaming consoles, making it an eco-system of its own.
It’s not only the tech Giants who are taking a leap ahead of others from the likes of Facebook, Google, Microsoft, and J.P Morgan Chase, who are tapping the Metaverse. Even RAK ceramics which is one of the biggest ceramic brands in the world is foraying into the metaverse.
Rak Ceramics, in collaboration with Nalikes Studio, launched an experience in Decentraland called “Imagine Your Space.”
Keeping up with the evolving world dynamics and the initiative to grow their brand with the ever-changing world, the management at RAK is adamant about being an early adopter in learning and building the bridge between the internet world as we know it and Web3. With this initiative, RAK Ceramics is in a prime position to tap into the $13 trillion market.
RAK Ceramics has acquired land in Decentraland, a 3D browser-based application allowing users worldwide to experience RAK Ceramics in the metaverse.
By building this virtual showroom in the metaverse, RAK Ceramics has the ability to showcase its brand to a much larger audience, even giving them the ability to provide virtual tours of their manufacturing plant and workshops, all within a seamless virtual world.
Metaverse is one of the most discussed techs right now, and as it continues to evolve, it stands true to say that it promises to unleash the next wave of digital disruption.
Nalikes Studio is at the forefront of helping RAK Ceramics achieve its standing in the Metaverse. With an in-depth knowledge and diverse talent pool of Web3, Blockchain, and Decentraland, we are guiding RAK Ceramics on their journey by educating and helping them build their brand on the promise of this virtual world.
Alexander Graham Bell, a well-renowned inventor, scientist, and engineer, said, “Preparation is the key to success”. It is crucial for a business to prepare now in order for them to work towards creating its future. RAK Ceramics has taken the first steps towards the Metaverse to experiment, innovate and deliver using the metaverse and the Web3 technology.
